The Dog-O-Mat is Ann Arbor's self-service dog wash. We provide an easy, fun and comfortable way to get a clean happy dog. At the Dog-O-Mat, you will find waist high tubs with water set to eighty-five degrees to make the dog happy and all the supplies you need to wash your dog so you don't have to worry about leaving things at home. We also have large aprons to keep you somewhat dry.

The bath includes two large NICE towels (and more if you need them), a wash cloth, a rubber scrubby brush and a bottle of an all-natural, tearless, aloe shampoo with free refills and a leave-in conditioner. We also have an assortment of specialty shampoos and conditioners for an extra charge. All our shampoos, conditioners and treatments are natural and non-toxic. To dry your dog, we have Double K forced air blow dryers. This is the scary part, if your dog does not like the vacuum-cleaner, it will not like the blow dryers, but they do work quickly and get out tons of loose hair. If you don't want to blow dry, you can use our grooming tables to brush your dog. We provide a variety of brushes and combs for your use.

We also provide nail clippers. We will clip your dog's nails for you if they are friendly and won't bite us. We of course charge for this. If you want to try some do-it-yourself grooming, we rent professional Andis clippers with a variety of sharp blades. We can also show you how to use the clippers. One of our infamous services is our de-skunking treatment. If your dog ran into a skunk, bring it in and we guarantee that our solution will work.
