About Saline
We're proud to serve Saline.
Saline families have been bringing their dogs to Dog O Mat for years. We are an easy drive up Ann Arbor-Saline Road, and everything you need for bath day is waiting when you arrive: tubs, shampoo, towels, dryers to rent, and helpful people.
Why Saline dog parents choose us
Saline is a family town, and dogs are part of the family. A quick trip to our Jackson Ave shop beats wrestling a muddy dog into a home bathtub, and you can stock up on food and treats while you are here.
A little about Saline
Saline takes its name from the natural salt springs that drew settlers to the area, and it was platted by surveyor Orange Risdon in 1832. Today its historic downtown, parks, and farmers market keep the small-town feel alive.

What Makes Us Different
Not all dog washes are created equal.
Wash Your Dog, Skip the Mess
Waist-high tubs, shampoo, conditioner, towels, brushes, and aprons, all included for $20 to $22, with blow dryers for $5 per half hour. You get the bonding time and the clean dog. The fur, the puddles, and the clogged drain stay with us.
Patient With Anxious Dogs
Dogs who panicked at other groomers are our regulars. Our behavior-focused, compassionate approach wins over nervous dogs, and dog parents tell us the difference is night and day.
A True One Stop Shop
Self-service baths, professional grooming, walk-in nail trims, de-skunking, and a stocked shop with toys, supplies, and premium food. One trip covers everything your dog needs, and we are backed by Karnik Pet Lodge.
